VT will issue a title for ANY bike with a legible VIN number and a legal Bill of Sale.Grandpaul,
Could he get a title from Vt by mail? Aren't you familiar with doing business with Vt. DMV or am I thinking of someone else?
I'm especially interested since I have a 1967 G15CS frame (no title) into which I will be installing a non-matching engine and will probably run into title problems.

I've been wondering about the Bill of Sale, what if the seller never had any paperwork in his name? If it doesn't matter, it seems anyone could write one up, whether or not they sold you the bike....VT will issue a title for ANY bike with a legible VIN number and a legal Bill of Sale.
I've never had to sink that low. If you have to do THAT, I don't like what you're doing. It looks bad on all of us.I've been wondering about the Bill of Sale, what if the seller never had any paperwork in his name? AJS had 33 or 33CSR prefixs.Matchless G15CS is not especially rare or collectible unless it's in excellent shape.
N15 is a Norton.
Not sure what prefix was used on the AJS bikes...
I wouldn't worry about the title / model prefix, just sell it as-is.
Would need some pix to even start to give a ballpark value...
Front fender and stays from Commando, not the same for N15.Good to know about Vermont.

Hi Rondo,If you have pictures of the headlight ears and correct instrument setup I would appreciate it. We have a box full of speedos and tacks and their holders. I've seen headlight ears in the parts also. Might as well get as many correct parts on this thing as we can. Thank you.
Rondo,We have chrome in inventory, thanks/
If your headlight shell is a Commando shell, it will require 3/8" bolts, I believe, and will be a mismatch to the G15 ears.
Andover supply the instrument plate and head light ears and grommets. If you have pictures of the headlight ears and correct instrument setup I would appreciate it.
