Right now UK suppliers will be avoiding Royal Mail because delivery times have increased more with Royal Mail than others. This is what a couple have said to me.Is not my courrier.
The seller chosed.
Now we all we friends have asked to ship parcels in treshold with Royal Mail and not with courrier and they can do this for parcels under 2kg of weight.
Amongst a lot of other guff about the origin of the term, the Wikipedia entry says:Also, I'd suggest you check out the meaning of third world!
Funny, I thought he had made it pretty clear why he won't be doing that!Joe Seifert will need to make a british version of his web shop, in order to serve EU customers not familiar with german!

I commend your optimism, I rather think things will get a lot worse before they get better.I disagree on it not getting better. It has to. The current situation is harming people and businesses and governments on both sides.

This ends on the 1st July - for everyone, business or private individual sending to friend. Read the EU notices.I completely agree with you.
That's exactly what I think too.
I just wanted to object that under the 135 pound threshold, trade is duty free and couriers cannot ask for shipping fees or taxes.
Simple, right?.
This is clear andThe Source arrived in the email box.

A brief explanation regarding purchasing Norton spare parts from Andover Norton after the UK has left the EU. You will no longer pay UK Vat at 20% on your purchases.
Depending on the value of any order you will be charged on entry: VAT, TVA, BTW etc.at the rate charged by your own country. Possibly Duty will be charged, again depending on the country of destination and value of order.
Contact your local Customs for advice.
Andover Norton declare the goods as Vintage Motorcycle Parts. Commodity Code: 87141000
Any Vat and any Duty payable is usually collected by the delivery agent acting as Tax Collectors for Customs entry and for this service an administration fee will also be payable.
Correct, at the moment, but it seems some countires decided to charge entry and exit border charges to and from the UK, as Piero says - what the hell are they. Are these charges as well as duty and VAT added on a parcel from the USA, I doubt it.The Source arrived in the email box.

I do not pay exit and entry border charges on Tri Spark, so why from the EU = profiteering of course.

I’m not that optimistic Steve... I agree with your first point unfortunately.I commend your optimism, I rather think things will get a lot worse before they get better.
Whatever is happening with Article 16, invoking it isn't going to help anyone!
Greg - Does it matter where the items are produced, Yes, very much so it seems, we have items in stock that are restricted and can only be sold to certain countries as per the US world police trade regulations. This may surprise some.Questions from someone who simply doesn't know the answers. I'm in the US, if I sell to someone in the UK or EU does the customer pay VAT and/or Duty to their country or the EU? If so, is it on the stated value in the customs forms I fill out in the US? Does it matter where the item(s) were produced?
How long, 8 days - I'd complain. Order on Monday and on my desk Friday morning!!!!It is probably still straight forward for the colonies.
Make your AN, pay the non VAT total and it is at the door around 8 days later.
Time will tell (as far as possible future 10% GST here on arrival which out of AU sales (including NZ 15% GST Pazon etc) would not pay as we did not buying from the UK or EU)
(GST for us (AU) is now collected by overseas eBay so anything is possible)

Steve, Charles de Gaulle airport IS bloody third world !At least I won't shout things about France being 'Le troisième monde' in French to French customs/border guards when delayed going through Charles de Gaulle airport as a lady colleague did when we were travelling together a few years ago!
I had to edit in order (Make your AN order...)
I can't see anyone complaining (even in jest) about UK to AU in 8 days via DHL, my SRM PRV was around 2 weeks by standard mail.
You should complain though, you could shout your order from your desk ?
