Well, I bit the bullet and bought the parts lot.
Turned out the seller was a neat old old guy that had a bunch of Nortons back in the day. He is now riding Harleys and was cleaning out the garage before he moved.
It was really a dogs breakfast, but included some commando specific tools and some good usable parts including a set of Amals, a decent fibreglass interstate seat, a Lockheed caliper, a later model speedo and what appeared to be an mint OEM or NOS Lucas tail lamp assembly for a mid seventies triumph.
Here is a picture of the Dunstall plates. They look to be original and in serviceable condition.
Not sure what I am going to do with them just yet. Might hang them on the shop wall for now.
