Hi Ellis. It's actually surprisingly easy to get the air box out. Take the carbs complete with manifolds and starter out. Drill the rivets out of the side panel bracket and remove it. Take the top bracket off the air box. The two screws on mine wouldn't undo so I simply levered the bracket up and pulled the screws out complete with the rubber nut inserts. Finally remove the two screws and nuts holding the bottom of the air box in. These were a right pain to get out on mine. Then it's simply a case of manhandling it out.I would sure like to see a video of that. I would think you would need to take the head and barrel off to get a MK3 air box out of the bike. I hope you can prove me wrong.

I refitted the Air box, without removing head and barrel, did remove the electric start, and probably also removed the carbs, from the head, Its is not an easy job but can be done.I would sure like to see a video of that.
