Ride height

ok how do you adjust the ride height on a naked?
Front or rear??
On the front of any 961 you can’t. The front fork tubes don’t allow you the room due to the shape of the fork tube. At most you’ll get only 1/4” or about 6mm.
The rear you can adjust the spring height a little.

Rear as the spec says adjustable ride height, mine is on eBay and I was asked the question tion

If its like the twin shock , there is a lock nut and threaded shock lower eye.

Dave,

Don't you have a Dominator shop manual?
If the Dominator mono-shock setup is like modern sportbikes, you may need to buy a different bellcrank mechanism that connects the swingarm/shock to the frame. It will have a different geometry which allows the bike to sit higher or lower in the rear.
I have never seen the Domi's mono-shock setup so can't be sure.

Max at Norton should be able to provide guidance on this issue.

Can you take photos and post ? Maybe then we can see how to do it. You want to adjust ride height without changing the pre -load etc.. There needs to be a way to lengthen the shock eye to eye distance . Maybe it is in the owners manual ? Or Ask Max at Norton.

Hello Voodoo , There is no way to lengthen the monoshock ? The only way to raise the ride height is to change the spring pre-load ?

The rear mono shock is mounted direct without a bellcrank.

You have slight adjustment at the lower spring perch

I see , One of those knobs adjusts ride height ? . So there is compression , rebound , spring pre-load and a ride height adjustment . Nothing at the top like David said ?

Awesome photos ! That shows every adjustment . Your bikes are clean Bro !

Actually, I take that back.

Pretty sure I can see a piece of lint or hair or similar on the end of the shock bolt in the second pic.

Filthy and neglected.

Dammit you caught that. I noticed it after I took the pics and posted them. I’m gonna have to take care of that right now! Totally unacceptable. Lol.

How tall are you ? You've got to be taller more inseam than me. When I sat on a Domi I was on my toes/balls of feet. I'm 5'8" ..
