Trump seems to be doing well so far...

Hey Danno, This is going to make it simple to understand.

Movie Link

That scenario is not always the case. I saw an article about Mitt Romney, where he made some very large profits off his investments, but was taxed at a 10% rate because it's capital gains tax rate. The average person making $40,000 is paying 17.93%, so there's some legitimate complaints to be made about taxes IMO.

Just like the statistical charts gortnipper posted, both imply a simple narrative, when in fact it's rarely the case. Laws and policies are complicated. How else would these scummy politicians pay back their superpacs if they didn't weave in some exceptions to fair rules for all... (just playing devil's advocate here...)

Say something often and others start to believe you, say it often enough and you believe it!

Attourney General - No collusion, No obstruction however, does not fully exonerate Donald Trump/ Republican team

Donald Trump - No collusion, No obstruction, completely exonerated.

He repeated numerous times - need to look at the other side - is he referring to the Democrats or the other side of something he believes?

You can't make this up.

“Does not fully exonerate” is the worse thing they could come up with. Means nothing. If there was anything there they would have found it.

Agreed - just leaves a hole for another 2 years of each side blaming the other.

Welcome to your own version of Brexit! Never ending decreasing circles
Or as we say - swivel.....

Mueller's a political animal. Split the baby. Gave the Dems a bone.

Just like the crummy prosecutor who, having lost to a jury's verdict of "Not Guilty," and walks out onto the courthouse steps to sputter "Well . . . . uh uh the jury said 'not guilty' but but but that doesn't exonerate him."

To me looking form the outside Trump got voted in for what he said he was going to do, it seems the other side are just sore losers and now they have the power to stop money coming in, they are still sore about losing power to Trump, don't get me wrong I don't like the man but he was voted in and everyone must accept that on both side.
Here in Aussie land its all over the news but really it has nothing to do with us and our next election is only weeks away to be called and I just can't wait to put my vote in, politics is all about power and stuff everone else, instead of working for the country and making life easier for everyone, not harder, these politians have no idea in how hard it is out in the real world and most of these leaders are rich multi Millionaires who have never done a hard days work in their whole life and they are always looking at ways to screw us even more.

I don't get my opinions from movies, documentaries or the history written by the winners. I don't give a fig about what's going on behind the scenes or people's so-called "good intentions". The only thing I know are the results, having been politically aware since Eisenhower was President.

And yes, it's true I don't like Trump and his minions. I have little respect for those who don't have to do real work and get life handed to them on a silver platter only to spend their lives increasing their wealth and power by any means barely legal. People who make money without working and producing are leeches and there are a lot more rich leeches than there are welfare queens and the drain they impose is much more harmful to the rest of us.

I am glad Trump isn't going to be thrown out before his term ends. It gives him many more chances to show what a slimeball piece of crap he is rather than getting kicked out and greasing the skids for Pence, who is only a little more admirable. Hopefully Congress can keep them both tethered by their sacks and we can get an intelligent President with an actual moral compass the next time.

It's not a matter of having an axe to grind over a lost election, it's a matter of fearing for the basic principles of democracy, free speech and the ability of common folks to make a living and take care of their dependents. When the idle rich like Trump take over, the rest of us have to work harder for less just to support them and their habits. Mar-a-Lago ain't cheap, bitches.

BTW, Trump should be horsewhipped for his comments on John McCain. He wouldn't make a pimple on McCain's ass. Although I didn't agree with McCain politically, I considered voting for him before he picked the Alaskan bimbo for a running mate. Had he picked Colin Powell.....

You mean like Joe biden, who went straight from college to the senate, or barry obama who never had a job other than he scooped ice cream at a baskin robbins as a teenager in hawaii... before he turned his community organizer gig into a campaign for office.

Your complete post above characterizes YOU, more than anyone you insult. We get it, you hate what you don't understand, or more accurately, You hate because you've been brainwashed and refuse to understand. You don't want to see the information in a documentary because it's made by "the winners"?? Actually it's a scathing documentary about all the players involved. Clinton's administration, Bush's, and Obama's,... It raises a lot of questions about big money and politics on both sides of the political spectrum. It's not a partisan hit piece, but that doesn't fit your preconceived notions, so you ignore it. Good idea, ignore the facts that don't fit your narrative...

You should watch it so you actually learn some interesting facts. Perhaps it will close the gap between those leaders you hate and those you seem to think are so awesome. Other than that you can just keep posting your vitriol and calling people names. That's been a proven winning tactic when you can't say anything intelligent.

The Sarah Palin story is important as it illustrates the kind of stupid things a pissed off electorate will do to give the finger to the good old boys.

It is interesting, no – revealing, to listen to and read the responses from hard-core Democrats to the exoneration of Trump and his team

This is the greatest and most consequential conspiracy theory in modern history.

It’s some kind of a psychosis, this insistence on “facts” that don’t exist. What drives it? IMO, you have to drill down into the obsessive envy of the egalitarian mind.

The best thing is to read the New York Times, or maybe the Washington Post to get your information... Since they won Pulitzer Prizes for their indepth reporting that bolstered the narrative that Trump and his associates committed treason by working with a foreign government. The award was given by the pulitzer comittee for:

“For deeply sourced, relentlessly reported coverage in the public interest that dramatically furthered the nation’s understanding of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and its connections to the Trump campaign, the President-elect’s transition team and his eventual administration."

In other words, "They believed and diseminated a bunch of shit made up by Hillary Clinton's operatives, not excluding rumors of russian hookers pissing on Trump in some sort of sexual act" and got an award for publicizing those lies.

The next time someone tells you that his source for some information is the New york times, like it's some indesputable truth, remind him that they got a pulitzer prize for promoting unsubstantiated lies because of their political bias.

i sure would like to see where you got these so called FACTS. oh i think i know where it was, from your back side.

People who make money without working and producing are leeches and there are a lot more rich leeches than there are welfare queens and the drain they impose is much more harmful to the rest of us.

Can I ask why some of you guys here like Trump given his performance over the last 2 years? Not trying to start a fuck you argument or anything, just generally curious. Not interested in the "fake news" narrative or fuck Democrats stuff. I'd like to hear your thoughts on DT in general. Let's make some room for a respectful discussion.

Pete that's a loaded question. It's assumes that people who argue against the delusional anti-trumpers, have some affinity for Trump, when in fact I would bet most of us just don't see someone elses vitriol as valid criticism. I would defend and have defended unfair analogies in this thread on both sides of the political spectrum. (read my tax cartoon criticism above) I supose if YOU hate the other guy, then you assume everyone hates their "other guy" too. Personally, I don't hate Obama, Clinton, or any politician, I just disagree with many of them on certain things. I don't like any human being so much that I would hesitate to disagree with them if that was my opinion.

A politician has to make policy decisions. It's like bowling. They tell you where they are aiming and you don't know if it's a strike until the ball gets to the pins. Trump is bowling his balls now. If he gets a bump in the economy for a quarter or a few quarters, you could say that's just "good salemenship", so really in order to decide if he's having good economic effect, things have to improve steadily without being a "house of cards"... and that takes time to evaluate so it happens further down the line. I think it's early to know if he's bowling a 300 pin game or a 150 game. He's certainly not throwing gutter balls thank god for that.

I suggested that people who believed Bill Clinton built a great economy to watch the documentary, "Inside Job" and learn about why the bank collapse happened, because most people don't understand what happened and why. They think Clinton did great, when in fact he built a house of cards base on a few bad policies and the repeal of a certain banking regulation. It all came tumbling down during Bush's administration who ill informed people often blame for the collapse. It all could have been avoided and will be if people learn why it happened.

Every president makes some mistakes,... Every one of them... Trump won't be exempt from that.

Trump is in office. Who knows what the long term effects of his policies will be. Only time will tell the whole story.

I still go by results, not personalities. And I don't need a documentary, a movie or an orange idiot to tell me what I really think. I look at what actually happened, not what someone else said happened to excuse all the Republican fukups and blame them on previous Democrats. As I said, I've heard all that crap before and culled it. Clinton created a good working economy, Bush nearly pushed it over the brink and Obama brought it back. If all you apologists hadn't hated Hilary so bad, Trump wouldn't even be here and this thread wouldn't even exist.n So don't talk about hate. Put up some results or STFU.

You even parrot Trump. Exoneration my ass. Not enough evidence to indict because some of those lawyers Trump pays to cover his ass actually did a good job of it. He's been getting away with crooked dealings because he and his shysters are experts and has been his whole life. Do you have any idea why he hides his taxes (income) and college transcripts? At least he's ashamed of something. Are his four (so far) teammates who are going to jail exonerated? The fact that he's President is the biggest roadblock to the Donald joining his friends in the slam.

Here's as much respect as I can muster: 70% of everything he's said since being elected has either been a gross exaggeration, a misinformed statement or an outright lie. And he cheats at golf. He uses the word "disgrace" quite often to describe anything or anyone he opposes. IMO, he's the biggest disgrace to the Presidency in my lifetime, maybe ever.

Tricky Dickie was actually a crook and resigned to avoid impeachment. I consider him to be the biggest disgrace. Trump is just a clown who couldn't get out of a paper bag without a lot of help. I still haven't figured out how the Presidential election gave everyone two raving loonies to choose from rather than someone who might have been able to actually do the job.
