Guys. Finally at stage to refit inner case.Despite a lot of research I cant find reliable info as to whether the chainwheel is ready to fit as in picture. Is that it or am i missing any seals or spacers? Thanks.
Secondly the two holes in the crank sprocket. Are these purely for locking engine?

Well there is the spacer and location circlip which go on the mainshaft behind the clutch: items 55 and 56

....Also clutch-primary chain alignment shims, 57 and 58. (Or, shim as necessary)

Thanks guys.I have some shims. The circlip isnt shown on factory images for my bike .1970 Roadster.Im finding a lot of later "parts" simply werent used on my bike!

ok got that thanks. Not sure where circlip locates though. So that chainwheel bolts up to inner case, without a seal behind it.How does the bearing retain grease, or does it rely on splashing oil from case? Just doesnt seem adequate!

Not sure where circlip locates though?

In the groove on the mainshaft (as there should only be the one groove?).

It is recommended to tighten the clutch nut to 40-45 lbs.ft with Loctite.

Tightening to 70 lbs.ft as it says in the manual has been known to damage the circlip.

About like this. I just happen to have my primary open.
So the locating clip goes in the groove as L.A.B says, all the way back where the splines end. The groove is about 1/8" out from the sleeve gear. The spacer goes "step side" against the locating clip which when properly seated should fit inside the "step" in the spacer.
