I need help to get the rubber mount to the motor bracket to my lathe. Here in the north, only metric parts. Can anyone tell where to buy rubber mount with the following dimensions (red attached image): thread 1/2 UNC, A = about 1 ", C = about 1"

McMaster will not ship ex US which is maddening when there is no where in Europe with their range or prices. I had them ship to a drop ship address for 2 years and then they found out what type of address it was and cancelled my account.

I took the chance and placed an order and hoped for the best.
What is the problem of sending goods out of the US? I was just wondering

sounded like a made up excuse worthy of a useless bureaucracy not a private company but it looks like they have a anti sales manager.

As the exporter of the material, your company is responsible for the export licensing determination as well as the proper documentation, paperwork, and government filings associated with this material. These requirements, as well as others, are described in the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Information on the EAR can be found on the Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security website at www.bis.doc.gov.

McMaster-Carr should not be designated as the United States Principal Party in Interest (USPPI) on these transactions.

The U.S. Department of Commerce (http://www.bis.doc.gov/index.php/regulations) has many complicated regulations covering the sale and documentation of products exported from the U.S. Those regulations apply whether the goods are shipped directly by McMaster-Carr or to someone within the U.S. who then sends the material outside the country. The Department of Commerce classifies both transactions as exports and imposes the same rigorous requirements for documentation and review.

Because of those requirements, McMaster-Carr only accepts international purchases from established customers. We won't accept your orders in the future. We apologize for not being able to help.

Ohhh ... I hope the best, but skeptical now. May have the answer tomorrow.

Colchester lathes are British made and you should be able to find a supler from there, any machine shop supliers should be able to get any parts for them, when I worked in the maintenance section at the TEC College I maintained over 40 Colchester lathes and we had no problems getting parts for them here in Australia, but not much realy happen to them, they are a good reliable machine, you could easly make your own rubber mounts.

Hello.
Thanks for your willingness to help me. I got a rejection of the MCMaster today and I would like to take advantage of your goodwill. :)
I come back with item number and quantity tonight.

sounds good. send me a pm with the number and your shipping address.

no problem for me, and who knows, maybe you can help me one day. you don't have any 88ss crankshafts do you? ha!

T ingermanson was so kind to help me buy rubber mounts from McMaster. Thank you very much for all our help.

And for record. Kommando was absolutely right. McMaster does not send out of US. In my opinion, this is tragic.

Shipping goods outside the US has become a hassle. Old Britts is one company that a lot of people used that has ceased international shipping. Sign of the times.

Where is the hang up? At our (the US) end, or with who we ship to.
In our business, we ship cotton fabric (a commodity that is highly regulated) all over the globe with no hassles. We do have a shipping clerk who knows how to prepare the paper work.

The biggest shock for me after moving to the UK was no McMaster!
Is there some sort of equivalent here in the UK?

No, looked long and hard, nearest equivalent are business to business, smaller ranges and premium pricing.
