In prepping for paint I pressure tested my gas tank and found a tiny air leak on or next to the factory seam weld. Is this best tig or gas welded with rod or brassed or silver soldered?

For myself TIG with tank under purge.

I sucessfully repaired a small pin hole on a seam on the tank of my Italian bike with lead solder, and a heavy duty (200W) soldering iron.

I’ve fixed several pin holes with acid & lead solder. As a matter of CHOICE. Great results.
And I was FAA A&P certified GTAW(TIG), and have a TIG welder myself.
