ok how easy is it to remove the tank to fit a optima batter cable?
Very, I have an optimate lead on my battery,Just search previous posts about tank removal, there is a knack to the quick release fuel spigot connectionok how easy is it to remove the tank to fit a optima batter cable?
There is already an optimate 'tm' plug on your wiring harness, if you look under the seat, there is a wire poked up in to a blanking grommet - if you pull that out you can use that to connect to a trickle charger. If your charger has a different connection, you can buy adapters on amazon/ebay etc.ok how easy is it to remove the tank to fit a optima batter cable?

Much easier than removing the tank!
if you look under the carbon tail unit from underneath the bike there will be two big black rubber grommets in the aluminium plate pull the left one off and the optimiser lead should be behind it, it is a oxford charger you need to be able to plug directly in.I wondered what that was, mine is a dominator naked
