Crutchlow wins 1918 Moto GP in Argentina!

A 30 second penalty for Marquez will not give Rossi back the points he would have scored.

I am sure Crutchlow wasn't even born in 1918 and I suspect there wasn't a Moto GP in Argentina in 1918. But if there was and it was won by a fellow named Crutchlow it is certainly old news by now.
Just teasing you Bernhard, in the subject line you forgot this is no longer the 20th century.

Cal is basically on factory Honda machinery and should contend throughout this season if he stays upright. Looks like he is finally able to go fast from the start. In the past, it would take him a few laps to get wound up and by that time, the leaders were gone.

If you have ever watched Marquez, you know he is always on the edge of crashing. that's fine when you're riding by yourself, but when you dive under someone and use him to prevent the fall you would have had if not for something to bounce off, you need to take stock and temper your enthusiasm in the name of safety. Marco Simoncelli had the same things said about his riding style and in the end, his ability ride off the edge of the tires led to his demise. It was quite fortunate that Rossi and Edwards were not seriously injured in the crash.

You must have both a very long memory and a short one; I suspect acroel was referring to the war that Maggie Thatcher took GB into with the Argies, she let the whole country think that she had won, but what was originally a cost saving Government exercise there to remove the Governor from the Falklands ended up costing GB millions of pounds to maintain a full armed force there, where there were none before. What a clown!:(

Bernhard, I was referring to the subject of the thread "Crutchlow wins 1918 Moto GP in Argentina!" I suspect it was meant to say the 2018 Moto GP in Argentina. Perhaps acotrel saw 1918 which was the end of WW1 and that prompted his question. In my first response I was teasing you about the subject line. I meant no harm or offense, I sincerely apologize if I did offend anyone.
Jim

GOK what acrotrel was referring to, it has gone pretty quiet here from him for some reason- if you are right that he thought the line was 1918 then perhaps he should go to specs save!:):rolleyes:o_O

The next line clearly does show 2018 and I figured that is what you meant. I was just teasing a bit and meant no harm.
Hope no offense was taken.
Jim
