Hi all looking for a Norton 750 s that was sold to Loran's bike shop toronto the bike belong to my dad Rick Barkey it all was complete and colour was orange he has stated that he marked all parts with his mark was hoping that someone out know about this bike I would love to bring it home if could thanks all

Hi Scott. Good luck with your search though it's a bit vague. I'm originally from the Toronto area and I have never heard of Lorans' bike shop.
 
The bike shop was Harry Firths on the danforth Best one in Toronto at one time my dad sold it there about 30 years ago I think Ron Loran bought it from him thanks Ps not a lot to go on looking for a picture of it
 
The shop was Loron . The guy that took over the business from Harry Firth was named Ron. I think the first part of the name was from his wife , Louise or something like that.

One quote from the site - "I remember that you had to go up a steep flight of wooden stairs to get to the parts counter upstairs, where a gorilla of a guy named Ron greeted you gruffly and with little enthusiasm. After Harry retired, I'd heard Ron and Harry's daughter Lois (?) bought him out and renamed it "Loron Motorcycles."

Ron passed away Dec. 2015. His wifes' name was Lorna according to the Obit.
 
Yes ,south side on The Danforth ,up a ricketty narrow steep set of stairs to an old small room and counter where Ron would reside. Organized and clean place. Ron was a rotund man and to the point with customers. Good luck on locating this vehicle.

Hi Scott I have some good news and bad news about the bike you are looking for. My name is Tim Gray. I am Ron Gray's son. My Dad was the owner of Loron Motorcycle. My father was rebuilding this bike for his personal use so he could ride with my brother and I. He never finished it. I myself have this bike. That is the good news that the bike is still around. Now for the bad news. I will not sell this bike. I am finishing the rebuilt on this bike and I am going to give it to my brother for his 50th birthday this August and because my dad was going to use this bike for personal use it is like I am giving my brother a piece of my father. I hope you can understand.
