Will not the vast weight saving of the drilled footrest hangers upset the handling?? Not that it was very good to start with, not unless you tightened up the isolastics to solid....so I was told by a friend who won a few championships riding them in his youth. But they were only intended as a 2 year stop gap model while new bikes were designed developed and put into production.....and how many times did we hear that in my youth?

I do like the new Norton .... but it does present a look of height .... I know its not tall it just looks tall , so I still prefer the original , visually anyway ...
