Xs breather valve

I've got my grubby hands on an XS beather valve it looks the biz, perhaps better than my old Guzzi steel ball and I'd like to give it a try. I've tried to find the post on this valve but failed. Can anyone help?

You'll like that XS 650 valve. After all, it was designed for a 650cc vertical twin. I've had mine for some time now and I have pretty well eliminated any oil leaks.

I tapped the output and screwed in a 90° barb fitting.

The Yamaha reed behaves much like the Guzzi steel ball in so much as it takes very little pressure to open. The only other reed I've used was a VW unit took about 2psi to open, and it blocked with scum too often.
