Beautiful machine indeed but I'll never understand how someone decides to buy a bike on e-bay without even having seen or heard it.
(unless the bids are so ridiculously low you can't loose anyhow)

It will sell for major bucks even if the engine is blown and there are no shoes inside that front brake.

The only thing that sucker is dripping, is CLASS!

I've exchanged emails with the seller. Didn't understand how it could have been registered for the road without lighting. He said that in the UK you can register bikes for daytime use only so he's only added a rear plate holder and a horn as far as street accessories.

It would be fun to race it. I am thinking of bidding but it is the transport that may be a problem, I would have to hire someone or drive out there from the east coast with my race trailer. Hmmmmmmmmmm.

I hope you strike a bargain. That is, in my opinion, a beautifual classic Norton race bike. How i'd love to get it out on a track like Road America or Barber's!

It does look like the real thing and if it's a Rob North motor it should be competitive out of the box for WERA Vintage 3, although Triumph 750 triples and Ducati 750SS (pre-74) are also eligible. After so many years running a TD-3 Yamaha, which is a real GP race bike weighing around 250 lbs. , this thing might feel like riding a bear on the track. On the other hand the sound and looks of the thing would grab attention even if I cruised around in last place. :lol:

I just like those brakes. If those were not that expensive, I'ld consider buying one but anyway, as I prefer to keep my bike as it is, I'll stik to the disk. :mrgreen:

Interesting to see it is running 2 breathers the cam driven timed breather and the timing case breather...
