Finally installing the new switch cluster & Master cylinder I got from CNW. According to the books wire diagram There is a white/yellow wire in the (L/H) switch that goes to a connector, from there it's a blue/white wire that used to go to the Ballast Resister. I have a Boyer MIIII ignition so now that (B/W) wire goes to the white from the Boyer box. My new switch does not have a "kill switch" so I was just going to disconnect the (W/Y) from the old Lucas switch & just not have a kill switch but will this disconnect power to the Boyer?? And if so can I just run the white from the Boyer to a white triggered from the ignition (key) switch??

Yes and yes.

Thanks L.A.B. I thought so but I like to get 2nd thoughts, I still don't always trust my electrical thinking...

Hmm - I'm using that Boyer model as well. I also did this same mod with components from CNW. But my right side control did have a kill switch so I guess I avoided this issue. Has CNW changed their kit in the past year?

Not sure we have the same switch from CNW, I'm using the Left Hand "Honda" (yes I feel guilty) switch that just has a High / Low beam, turn signals & a horn button. If you have a Right Hand switch it must be diff.. I may install a small kill button on the right side in the future .

Actually, I'm using both left and right hand controls from CNW. If you're not using the r/h cluster how did you use their Brembo master cylinder? I don't remember exactly, but it seemed to me I needed the r/h cluster for it to work, or at least to keep it neat.

The switches are both Honda units that they used on several different bikes from the CBR to XR650s. The left side switch is lights, turn signal, horn. The right side is run, stop, and start. Since I do not have an electric starter on my MK3, I de-pinned the start button and rotated it down so the run/stop buttons face me.
