Wiring help requested

I'm attempting to install a new wiring harness on my '73 roadster and I think I have most of the major components, such as alternator, regulator, and coils wired correctly (??) I'm having trouble with the wiring for the lights. Here's what I have:

From Harness:

Blue/Yellow
White/Blue

Left Handlebar:

Blue/White
Blue/Red
Blue

Headlight Shell:

Blue/Yellow
Blue/Red
Blue White
Blue

I've wired the Blue/Red wires together, as I don't see them going anywhere else. Blue/Yellow shows going from the harness to Blue on the handlebar. What about the other Blue or Blue/Yellow? Also, I don't see mention of a White/Blue anywhere on the diagram, unless I've overlooked it, which is entirely posssible. I'm lost.

Also, on my right handlebar I have a White/Red that shows it should have a corresponding wire on the harness, but I don't see one. Anybody know what that is?

I'm sure I'll have more questions later but that's enough for now. Any help is appreciated!

Are you working from the correct 1972-74 wiring diagram?

White/Blue (it's there on the diagram = WU) connects to the White/Yellow handlebar kill switch button wire at one end, and the ballast resistor (if you have points ignition) at the other end.

Also, on my right handlebar I have a White/Red that shows it should have a corresponding wire on the harness, but I don't see one. Anybody know what that is?

White/Red is not used. As it would have been the wire to the ill-fated and unreliable starter motor system that, thankfully, they decided not to fit!
