Once you have had a look you can cast your vote above. Each person must be registered and can only have one vote. It is OK to change your vote. Voting will be open for 10 days and at that time who has the most votes wins.

Normally I hold donations and send the $ to the winner. This year I cannot do that as it is my accountant's worst nightmare. So I will post your pledge to the winner of the contest below. In other words if you will be happy to PayPal the winner $10 for example, I will post that here now and that is a promise to contact the winner at the end and pay them. You will work directly with the winner at the end of the contest and hopefully stand by your pledge or promise.

Let me know your pledge to the winner so I can post it here:
-Jerry Doe- I will give $10 and an Access Norton T shirt to the winner.
-GrandPaul: I will donate a signed copy of my book to the winner
-Pete_B: $10
-Pete.V $10
-nortriubuell $10
-Wants To Remain Anonymous will contact winners and give this much:
I pledge;
1st $25.00
2nd $15.00
3rd $10.00

email/pm me to have your pledge added here

Thanks all for picking my bike as the winner of most improved. I have to say that there were a couple of other bikes that could have easily taken the place of mine. It is an honor. I received an email from one of the forum members saying that he wanted to send me money-- I was completely oblivious as to why. These bikes are a labor of love for me. Truth be told, I submitted the story and the pictures only moments before the deadline. Save for an art contest I won in grammar shcool a hundred years ago, this is the only thing I've won since. Thank you all for your votes. I have to thank this poor Norton, however, as well. It was about as close to returning to carbon as I've seen in a long time. It deserved every bit of toiling and fretting over it that I gave. It was lavished with all of the best bits that I could purchase for it. Hopefully it will live on for another 40 years.

I was having a hard time deciding between 3 different bikes, but after reading every detail and studying every photo, yours was the obvious choice. Congrats, and job very well done.

Congrats JCD, outstanding rebuild. I was bidding on that one too. Big D is not so far from Houston so I really wanted it, however my bank account was weak! Had I won the auction, it would probably still look the same, with the only difference that it would have moved inside out of the weather. The bike is certainly better off with you, again congratulations on an exceptional rebuild and the win. Does it ride as good as it looks??
