Will a Norton 850 exhaust pipes fit a 750

I found some 850 commando roadster exhaust pipes for sale. Will these pipes fit my 750 1971 Roadster?

Most likely they'll fit. I've interchanged perhaps eight combinations of pipes and mufflers between 750's and 850's over the years with little fuss

It's mainly about getting them to seal properly against the exhaust port face.

If it's a balanced pipe set, then you will probably need the '850' lock rings (finned nuts) and split collets.

However, 850 Mk.3 pipes require different collets and spherical seatings instead of the gasket rings ('31' & '32' are often listed incorrectly in parts books, as item '32' on the diagram is the spherical seating).
