does anyone have the measurements of a wideline swinging arm?
I'm trying to figure out if it would be possible to make a triumph one fit.

Why??? Are you missing a swinging arm for a Wideline, I have one up in my shed to measure for you if need to, but I am not at home at the moment, not sure a Triumph one will fit.

Yeah I'm missing one,
Width wise it's not far away but I'd like to know if it matches up lengthwise. New ones can be got from AN but the triumph one looks very close

Not having a swinging arm is a bonus... perfect excuse to get a Dresda box section swinging arm fitted...!

What dimensions do you need ? Center of pivot to axle ? I have one still in chassis. LMK what you need and I will measure it for you .

centre of pivot to axle would be perfect thanks, and axle width too,

If you are going to build one, space the head end short enough to allow for thrust bearing washers between it and the frame plates. I still have bushings and thrust washers from when I used to make upgrade kits. Also might still have a couple of 3/4 spindles...

Center of pivot to forward edge of axle in its forward most position - 14 3/8”

Distance between axle forks - inside to inside - 7 5/8”

Distance between gusset plates @ swinging arm pivot - inside to inside - 8 3/8”

Hope this helps - LMK if you need more

Thanks for this, it will go with some slight modification. However it is 5cm longer, so it looks like ill be shelving this idea.
I'd love a Dresda however they are a bit on the costly side.
I've put a wanted ad up, so will see what comes my way

Cheers
Adam
