    That oil pump nipple seal, I thought those were for the early models?

    Same for all pre mk3 I believe.

    Ah ok. A PO had put a later one in my 1972 model cover (I now have a MK3 850 type cover on with the later nipple).

    A month ago, I found this laying on the bike lift.
    Last night, realized it is a carb slide locating pin. Amal Premiers, loose fit. Contact cement to re-attach

    Contact cement? You mean JB Weld because JB Weld is the only approved tool on this forum!

    Lol, but for 50 years, CC has been the weapon for gas proof glue...:D

    Fired first kick, 25 mile test ride/cam break in. Only issue is a leaking fuel tap.
