Who sells the best round plastic Wideline Badges? Reproduction or oem? Are they the same as Pll's?

Who sells the best round plastic Wideline Badges?

I'm deliriously happy with mine.

No idea if they are oem or new though.
How do you tell ?

The modern wideline ones are supposed to be a slightly larger diameter than the originals - so wont be a good fit in original chrome side panels. (wideline ES2 in my case)
Just measured mine (repops) at approx 81.5mm dia (hope i was reading that correctly, someone has hidden my specs...)

The 'N' badges are correct for those P11s that came with them, as are the late '=M=' badges (around 600 P11 and P11As were sold as Matchless).

G15CS/P11A advertisement:

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/tqsvl9o2...ements/Matchless_G15_and_P11_leaflet.pdf?dl=0

Though labeled as 1968 models, both bikes in this ad are actually 1967 machines, as evidenced by the 1967 tail light brackets, and the high pipes and solo seat on the P11A (actually a P11)

I thought the last Widelines were made in 1959?

The ES2 was wideline for '59 and '60, went slimline for '61, '62 and was then dropped.
The twins changed earlier, perhaps they used up the leftover frames on the singles?
Mine is NOC dated as 1960, one of 69 bikes sold with sidecar as Royal Automobile Club roadside service vehicles, but in solo civilian trim now.

Perhaps we need an answer to that.
Are the badges as fitted to the widelines, and to the 1950s swingarm frame tanks
the same as for the P11 etc ??

Was there a break in production of them (badges),
or they were just carried on into the 1960s on the hybrids....

Yes, I agree!

With my experience with
the Fastback Norton/Villers badges all the reproductions are pretty poor in one way or another.
