Hi.
I need a few things, including a sprag, and heavy duty cables, and the like.
I have seen a few threads discussing the merits of various types, but am wondering what the consensus is in regard to a good place to buy them.

I see a number of sellers in England and the US (I am elsewhere), and am not sure who people think are good.

Any direction or feedback regarding price and overall experience in your dealings with various vendors would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Put simply, buy for someone you can talk with. You are not looking for a friend, you will meet plenty here and elsewhere, you want a supplier who stands behind their parts and customers.

Sure, best to start with research. And by that I mean search the forum for anything about vendors.

Elsewhere could be a lot of places. Where you shop at might be geographically relevant.

My understanding is the cables from Venhill are good, not that I have any, yet.

All will have their favourites and for some parts you can't beat discussing face to face. More common parts like cables, batteries, brake pads, chains etc don't have to come from a Norton specialist providing you have the right sizes etc. For my own experience Mick Hemmings and Andover Norton have most of what ever you wil need and great quality, plus Mick knows his Nortons inside out. Mick does not have a website though and Andover Norton's is not a full transactional site but if you can cope with that they get my vote.
