Is there an offset on the rear wheel of an 850? I have a wobbly wheel and need a guy to take a look at it, but want to make sure he has any info he may need to correct the problem, thanks..

Are talking about rim offset?

Don't know what year you have but if it helps I have a 75 850 MK3. Rear wheel offset is + 2 3/16 from disk surface mount of the hub to center line of rim.

If yours is differant then mine then call
Buchanan's 626-969-4655
They are very helpfull.

Always measure rim offset from known datum point to centre of wheel rim............rim widths differ, and its always best to measure to centre.

A mis fit shade tree like me, would measure to the nth degree, then mount with brake to make sure before really nipping up the nipples. Each row of similar lenght spokes should all have their own tone - what that tone is, is up to you, but tighter than any expected or unexpected road shocks.
