What's happening at Norton? Sale to TVS, massive investment, new bikes...

Show me dominator parts. Are you going to tell me when TVS bought Norton, that they didn’t have any Domi parts? I know for a fact they did, they told me they did. Instead they threw them out.
Not gonna tell you anything Voodooo - none of my business - sounds like ancient history though.

Domi 961 specific parts? Not a Solihull Norton concern you would think. Then, or now.

Spotted that! Very apt!🤣

Norton’s “Electra” Trademark In India Might Spark a Small Bike Renaissance

Born in 1898, Norton was a racing legend, winning the Isle of Man TT a jaw-dropping 94 times and building icons like the Commando and the Manx. For decades, the brand stood for speed, style, and British engineering at its finest.

Triumph's 400cc offerings have proven that retro works perfectly well with small displacement engines.

What it does suggest is that Norton and TVS are gearing up to play in the booming small-displacement segment. Bikes like the Triumph Speed 400, KTM 390 Duke, CFMoto 450NK, and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 have proven there's a big appetite for lightweight, high-quality bikes that are fun, affordable, and global in appeal.

BMW F 450 GS

Again, this is a repeat of what's been said before. TVS is going to use existing platforms for Norton. They haven't produced anything "new" yet. Also, I'm sure BMW will have a say if they use the 450 engine, as it competes with the UK market that Norton intends to target, so that will be interesting if they opt for it or downsize to a 400. I think 600cc is still a nice spot

The KTM390 has been a disaster in the USA. Its a service nightmare, and the engines are junk. Bikes are made by Bajaj Auto

If CF Moto were to upgrade some of the crappy OEM parts they use, they would be a formidable brand.

Royal Enfield has 150 dealers in the USA with minimal inventory, so you don't see many here same as Ural

The other thing that also drives a lot of smaller entry-level bike purchases is the low APR offers or cash-off offers, which you see when products don't sell, or the manufacturer wants to inflate the sales numbers

no idea what this never is about, here's a multibrand dealer
I’m trying to decide who’s more annoying, you or SS.

Do you own a 961?
Do you have experience with a 961 dealer?
Ever try ordering parts from a USA Norton dealer?
Good luck.

I’m aware of multi brand dealers. I bought each of my 961 from multi brand dealers. Guess what?
They both dropped Norton.
