Hello folks...........I have to ask for a memory jogger and some help since the disassembly process was over 7 years ago! It's a 1973 850 Roadster.

What am I looking at here and how does it relate to the horn mount and rear fender mounting. I see I had already removed the battery box at this point. Thanks!

The bracket is just for the fender. If someone had a horn mounted back there, it may have been a first. The thing with the three power blades and one for ground is the rectifier. I think the little box with two blades is the flasher unit.

The horn mounts to a bracket at the lower rear of the battery tray. It's L shaped with two holes on the verticle surface. A triangular flat bracket attaches to this with two 1/4" bolts through the battery tray and one hole for the center mounting bolt on the horn. This all sits just forward of the rear fender bracket you can see in your photo. The horn mount is a pain to get at unless the fender is removed.
