" Bland" might be a way of describing a motorcycle which does not scare you shitless. The only fairly modern bike I have ridden was a VFR400 Honda. When I ride any motorcycle, I become unaware of its speed. The VFR400 did not feel like anything. And I could not understand why it did not go any faster than 180 KPH. I did not know it was speed limited. My impression of it was, it did everything so perfectly that human brains were not needed. With old motorcycles, an adrenalin rush usually creates a fear response which causes the rider to react.

No - been dedicating time to the Morgan and holidays, still watching it though. I know it has some trick goodies but you can get a new CCM for the same money. Currently looking to downsize fleet as Norton running so nicely. Still have the Kawa zxr400! Once I can stop the cutting out when hot that could be a contender for your beastie?

Strongly suspect any niggles will be resolved within the SP warranty period with many years of trouble free biking to be had thereafter🤞. Spares availability for the vintage models is a real bonus of course. I’m guessing the mental image of the pool of oil under the bike has not been completely eradicated though! Unless you’re riding one of these beauties!

I mean, it’s no 961 admittedly - looks a bit portly around the paunch and that derrière’s decidedly dull! But I’m sure that it’s a (barely) adequate performer!😉

When a Cafe Racer stylist goes just a little toooooooooooo far!!! A slightly more conventional front end (and possibly tail unit) and that would be a sweet lookin’ bike!

Very Japanese styling I guess!! Like to ride it though!

Agreed BT👍. Saigon Classic Motorcycles (SCMC) out of Vietnam. It’d look great next to the Norton in my garage - slightly behind it of course!
