Wet primary vent???

I did a search and only found the dry primary venting. I wanna know if anyone has vented their wet primary like the transmission vent. I've sealed my cover and installed a new felt washer when the bike was apart. I only put 7oz's of ATF and it is weeping ATF from the clutch shaft seal down the back side of my primary. Some day's it's leaking an some it doesn't leak at all. I want to know if it will help keep the weeping down if I vent it like the transmission.

No. There's no pressure in there to vent.

So everyone's bike leaks like this then?

No, those of us with belt drive primaries do not have leaks.
Also, the Mark 3s are virtually no leak primary covers with their multiple securing points.

Yes, that felt seal...doesn't. Also the two discs riveted together that the felt is in, don't make any type of seal to the inner primary case. Bottom line...it's supposed to leak. My experience is if you definitely get the leaks stopped they don't stop indefinitely.

Let it leak then. I'm not gonna put the money to go belt primary when I'm just gonna sell it anyway. Thanks for the reply's.
