Can anyone give me the weight of an empty stock interstate tank + the overall WxHxD of the tank ? (looking to get size & weight of box for shipping quote)

5 or 6 variants is size, but roughly similar. No weights tho in this thread. Mine is half full and on the bike.
Interstate Tank Variations
This started when yesterday I put 6.83 US gallons in my Interstate tank. I had always assumed from the literature that the capacity was 6.6 US gallons. So I did some research and it seems there were at least three different tanks and possibly six. And that doesn't take into account any...

If it's any help, my original Steel Roadster tank is 3.6 kg. I have an alloy sprint style Lyta tank that had about a gallon less capacity than my Interstate, and it weighs 4.0 kg.
You could be generous and add a third to the latter.

Just scoping out shipping costs for looking overseas for an original tank, TAB classics can't do one of their alloy interstate tanks with a standard style ceandess cap. Really don't want to go down the Indian interstate tank route...
