Watchings Queen's Funeral

Haha, I feel you on the BMWs leading the procession. It's interesting to see different choices for such events. Maybe they wanted to switch things up a bit. As for the absence of Brits, who knows? It's possible they had their reasons.
By the way, if you're curious about different types of grave markers, you can check out this website with Bevel Headstones. They've got some cool info that might pique your interest.
Keep the discussion going, even if the thread is a bit old. It's always fun to exchange thoughts and opinions. Cheers, @jaydee75!

What two songs, Ash??

Boogie With Stu, song 3 side 4 on the Physial Graffiti album, have rocked to that song for so long and the song after it, Black Country Woman, I have every Led Zeppelin albums but this album and 2 songs are my most played.
Just love the drum beat.

Agree Boogie With Stu hits top gear and stays there.... though would venture that Trampled Underfoot shifts it into overdrive :) That whole album is awesome, but I go against the grain and find Kashmir (RP's favourite) pretty dull. And sadly the CD versions still don't match the original vinyl for clout....
Bought then sold In Through The Out Door, again seemed maudlin apart from Hot Dog, THAT bounces along nicely...
Zep 1 and 2 sound better on 'new' CD mastering (IMHO), but 4 must have been a poor recording as it still sounds a bit lifeless here. Mr Page has had two goes at cleaning them up and chasing our cash, perhaps he's holding something back so we shell out again??

I have all my Zeppelin on vinyl brought back in the 70s a friend of mine her parents owned the local record store way before CDs she worked at the store and she listened to every record that came in I brought one record every week and she put me onto some great albums all my records never cost more than $6 , they still have the price stickers on them, I have also replaced all my records with CDs but I now have a new record player and the old vinyl have come out of storage, the sounds are so much better than CDs in my book.
Boogie With Stu copped a caning but it still plays good, I always looked after my old records.

Yep, those BMWs leading the procession do add a unique touch to the funeral. It's interesting how people choose different vehicles to honor their loved ones.Speaking of funerals, I can relate to your curiosity about different funeral ideas because I'm currently navigating the challenging journey of dealing with a family loss. It's a time when you start thinking about how to make the farewell special and meaningful. While on this quest, I came across https://greenfarewells.com/. It's a website that offers eco-friendly burial options. It's not just about being environmentally conscious but also finding ways to create a lasting tribute that reflects the values of our loved ones.

Thank god there is another human who feels as I do - but you are too kind . I like The Zep for the most part but Kashmir is beyond dull- it is droning repetitious torture . If I were a secret agent captured by an enemy 60 seconds of Kashmir would have me surrendering every secret I held .
