I was watching a rerun of "Chasing Classic Cars" ,Wayne was at Barbers, in the museum there was a Norton on a stand . It was a red and black(?) E start Norton , with mag wheels and a one piece body. What was it? Prototype?
Also he was walking through the swap meet and stopped to feature a red 68 Dunstall Commando, that I once owned.

I think it's a non-standard John Player Norton replica.

It may be quite special though, I'm not sure. Someone else will likely chime in with more info.

There is a well-known Norton guy that is very involved in the shop, his name escapes me at the moment... (not Beno Rodi, not Leo Goff)

I found a photo of it on the internet:)

but that's kind of an unlikely display for Barbers, unless there is a story
The story will be right there on the laminate placard...

I've seen a bunch of non-original bikes there over the years.

Brian Slarke said, "That bike has a one piece tank seat combination sold by Dicks Cycle West in Los Angeles. They would build cafe racer kits and accessories."

Cool, you contacted Slark about this? wheels?

Look like Morris wheels to me.

I think you are correct. As best I can recall, the Morris wheels for Nortons back in the day were all 7 spokes. I have a set of the original Morris Norton wheels, and they look just like the ones in the picture.
