Just wondering how these are going, I know some have fitted them and they have been in production for some time now so there must be some reliable information on them so far.

yes I use them but havent done enough miles to give a thorough long term report. However
I would continue using them in the future, no issues and a very good price compared to Amals.

i've done 6k miles with the Wassel Evolution. they work fine and i had no issues.

Ok, I’m gathering here that it’s a Boyer rip off, correct?

If it is, it seems different to the Amal copying situation cos as Tornado points out, the stator plate is a nice looking fully encapsulated unit, thereby (hopefully) solving the Boyer failure mode of broken soldered connections on the stator plate?

I’m told that Vape made a Boyer licenced copy at one time.

Don’t know about now- it’s all electronic mysteries to me.

I had one on the T140 I bought last year and thought it looked interesting.

But, being a Tri Spark fan, I removed it to fit a Tri Spark. Kinda ironic really given recent posts on the topic!

Having said that, it’s my 5th Tri Spark to date and, so far, I’ve had zero issues...

Well it’s certainly not due to me doing anything clever. I’m not clever enough for that!

I heard that Neanderthal man had a bigger brain than Homo Sapiens, but the Neanderthals died out.

Could they just have got too smart for their own good?

Yes, larger brain.

I have read various explanations. The first is that they may have had less crenellation and therefore less brain surface area, thereby requiring a bigger skull. The next is that they may have evolved a different type of intelligence; another is that it had to do with the cold climate and keeping your brain at the right temperature and that immigrants from the south came from a warmer climate which did not require a large head size and that as the Ice Age receded big heads’ thermal inertia was no longer required
