If you signup for VIP membership please allow 24 hours to be setup. I'll email you when you are added to that user group.
1) There are lots of new features in the new VIP area. The most popular will probably be the Gallery area.
2) Also when you are writing a post you will see a new tab called "Upload attachment". It is pretty straight forward how to add images to your posts. You can also select an image from your online gallery to be in your post. Images are re sized and expand when clicked.
