Craig turned me on to this business a while ago in a speedometer drive thread.
Thought I'd make a formal write up about the product I received in the hopes of helping anyone searching for cables.

I'll keep it brief.
I ordered a speedo cable for my 70 commando and a replacement inner cable for my original tach cable.
The speedo cable from VBC is an EXACT match for the original cable I had on my bike, they even added the bit of floating armor I requested for the S pipes. Unlike Venhill, the armor is an exact match for original. I know this isn't important for everyone, but it was for me.
Also bought a rebuild kit for my speedo glass, bevel, seal etc... quality parts as well.
Now both my tachometer and speedometer work and look as they should. Vintage British Cables make a fine product, customer service is excellent and price is affordable as well.

Access to the 3 bolts that attach the hub to the brake drum, superceded by the 3 shock absorbing prongs.

If you need a speedo or tach cable, IMHO, there's no place else to go. Also, they've restored more than 20 devices for me and every one has been perfect.

Genuine vintage British clutch, brake and throttle cables were not nylon lined, so they were usually very stiff when used. Japanese cables are much better. For my throttle I use two TZ350 cables with a twin-pull twist grip, and my clutch cable is also nylon-lined Japanese.

We talking instrument cables here Al

I would still use a Japanese item in preference to British, unless the British item is new manufacture with current technology. I would prefer to not use old stock.
