Perhaps Western Australia was developed after NSW. A one-way bridge is a tourist attraction these days. I really like to visit Sydney because some of the stuff from colonial days has been left standing. In the UK, they seem to specialise in feeding the nostalgia trip - it is not a bad way to go. When I went there, I discovered the reason that in the old days many Australians used to call England 'home'. There are many similarities between the UK and how parts of Melbourne used to be.

There are a lot of one lane bridges near me and ya just go slow enough to see if something bigger has right of way to wait on to cross. Never just riding across at normal speed unless a death wish, sheeze. The dangerous part is traffic so low in one lane bridge routes - its easy to take chance nothing oncoming to bargain with as usual until one time it ain't.
