Well.. It is smooth around 3000rpm and the mirror is clear thro an increasing rev range. There are vibes through the footrest though as the revs increase, should it be vibe free at the footrest once the mirror is clear? It was bend swinging nice at 80mph on my private roads over here so maybe I slacken off some more, there wasnt any hinging effect.

Try slackening the rear one more hole - that would be my guess.

In my experience, there will always be a bit of vibes in the pegs that will come and go, but they should not be hammering your feet, nor should it increase with engine RPM.

There was a post here some years ago where someone listed the rpm vs vibration and which of the ISO's was dominant for the rpm range. I dunno what search criteria to use to find that info.

Thanks I was going to try one more hole on the back one. Yes there was a post on vibes vs rpm somewhere

My theory is that much of the vibes in the footrests come from the silencer mounts. I wonder if the replacement rubber mounts might be a little stiffer than original as well.

I found this in the International Norton Owners Association Tech Digest
