V4SV ‘is now available’

May I suggest you buy an Aprilia RS 660 while you wait? Eddie.
Then you will have something to compare the SL with when it does arrive.
But I don't think TVS is going to produce the bike you're looking for,
for the price you want to pay!

Their badge is prestige and for that you're gonna have to pay!
I don’t think they're trying to compete with anyone,
Hence the irrelevant numbers game is not their thing,

I'm on the other hand in no rush, slow is good for me,
4& half years till my 65th.

But I must admit I'm more than a little bit interested in what the final spec and PRICE will be when it becomes available!?

This will also determine if I still want one!!

The badge on the tank can only account for SO much!

An Aprilia for people with more sense than money!

And it must be a good tool if Hickey was going to race it at the I.O.M

It just wasn't race ready, that's why he swapped to the Paton
I looked at the Aprilia, it’s nice, but I bought a used MV for not much more £ while I was waiting instead !

If Norton can’t / don’t produce what I’m looking for then I’ll just save my money and ‘put up with’ the MV !!

But if Aprilia can get close to what the Superlight was supposed to be, and sell it for £11k ish… then it’s a poor show if Norton can’t do the same for £20k ish innit… especially with all that racing heritage, innovation, and state of the art factory they keep waxing lyrical about !?!

Actually, the more I look at what I’ve written here, the more I think I’ll just keep the MV thanks !

I think you've come to the right conclusion Eddie,

You will just have to stand by your bed and see what TVS comes up with,

I personally would be well chuffed with the MV!!

The MV is fabulous to be honest. I’ll tell you what it’s like on the track after Wednesday. Well let me re phrase that, I’ll tell you how I get on with it on the track (the bike is obviously a fantastic track tool). Me n Clive are going for a gallop around glorious Cadwell Park.

But I’d love to do it on a modern Norton instead… fly the flag etc… and I’ve got so many Norton T shirts I wanna get some use out of !

ENJOY

I was wondering when you were going to give us a report on the MV

I thought maybe he's sold it already.

I would sell a kidney or 2 for Yves's MV

I think I can forgive him for swapping his Norton?

Ps Yves if you're reading this I miss your posts mate
Ride on.

his Norton was for sale for £25k from a ‘dealer’ last time I looked.

I've sent about £20000 on my Norton over a period of 18 years,

And it comes no where near the excellent machine Yves turned out.

So a bargain me thinks.

Thanks for posting Yves's bike Eddie,

It truly is an exquisite machine!

Now give me that over an SL,
All day long,
And if exclusivity is your bag, then there it is right there!!

Hat's off Yves
