I fear it’s already too late for you…
Probably for us all.
Abandon all hope ye who enter here!
Or we'd be spending our free time on something more reasonable, like a Honda/Yamaha/Kawasaki/Suzuki forum.

It’s not depressing for those looking to buy !

If prices continue like this we’ll start to see them in the hands of the custom brigades. That might yield some interesting bikes. It will also put ‘take off parts‘ into circulation for others.

And it will reduce the number of nice, clean, original bikes… driving up their future value.

So all part of the natural cycle really.

Very depressing.
Can’t believe how little they sell for used.
I have seen 2019 Triumph 1200 Thruxton's for that price already too. Has anyone been able to get a parts order in to Norton recently ? So there you have it , No parts , No service , No dealers (outside of UK) and finally bad reputation . Have any other questions ?

Depreciation is real.

The "Harley magic" of sell it for more than you paid ended decades ago.

I chuckled yesterday as I drove by a MoCo worship center, the digital billboard proclaiming "we sell at MSRP!"
I remember the same dealer gouging $3-5,000 above MSRP. I vowed to never buy so much as a quart of oil from them.

I sold a 2023 Low Rider ST for $5000 over what I paid for it.

This is how I feel. I don't care what they have that I want I will never go to any dealer that tried to gouge me and recommend to our customers to not go there as well.

People got batshit crazy and thought they could get away with it.

The Low Rider ST has been hard to get for a while , so people are paying . I got a fair deal on the Indian Chief bobber , I can't stand it when dealers add another $3,000 to price of a bike , they do it on used bikes too . How many times you got to pay shipping on the same bike 1st , 2nd , 3rd owner LOL ! 👎

That NEVER happens to me…
I posted it for sale on Facebook marketplace and in 15 minutes I was contacted by the buyer.

The ST bikes were a new model and have the 117 CVO motor and a frame mounted fairing, plus hard bags and some other upgrades.

They only made a run of 300 Low Rider ST at first. Dealers were marking them up $2000-4000 over MSRP. I was lucky to get mine at MSRP because I traded in a new 2022 Low Rider.

I made out both ways.
Kinda had second thoughts when he came to pick it up. It was a good looking bike.

I agree 100% Tony. It’s also like paying taxes on a used vehicle. It was paid when it was new, why must it be taxed again when it sold to someone else.
