These are going on a 750 short stroke race motor....JS longs rods/lightweight pistons, PW3 cam, 10.2 ish to 1, FullAuto Head, long inlets with open bellmouths, race exhaust...

The carbs have been used on a Commando, but the guy said he couldn't get them set to his satisfaction! The amount of jets and stuff that came with them it looks like he tried, but I think he was more concerned with things like idle than I am ;-)

included parts are jets from 200 to 240 ( I am sort of guessing I will end up larger than that!), 106 and 108 needle jets, lots of idle jets! and they come with two sets of slides, 2.0 (used) and 2.5 (fitted), no spare needles, so looks like he didn't try those....So....

Anybody got a good start point for jetting with these?

I have no experience with these carburetors, but I will wish you good luck. :D

I are doing adjusting into my carburettors (32 mm JS Motorsport) on my short stroke now. To hear a Commando with full throttle up to 8000 rpm makes impression

2.0 to 2.5 slides will work, 25 pilot jets, 159 p-2 needle jets, 210 main jets and the most important is 6F5 needles, (single taper). There is a big variance depending on what gasoline you are using, pump gas or race gas. Race gas will require bigger needle jets, possibly 2 to 4 sizes bigger. Worked on my short stroke with sifton 460 cams
