something I'm working on, 320mm complete brake kit, as pictured , wheel, sliders, 320mm discs, 6 piston calipers, uses standard Norton axle, 2 issues, (1) need to use a Dunstall/Rickman clip on fender, (2) this
brake kit wont be available immediately.

I'm pensively disappointed with the *new* 100 Road Runner grip with factory Combat hot nail opened brake. I get which burnt hand let go reflex to grab much brake too hard, so you should include a lock up ease work up warning. Wonder if its possible to get a single or dual rotor to glow in the dark?

On the WM2, I am going thru all of this right now with new alloy rims for the Vincent. Not much fits a WM2x 19 anymore.
The 100/90/19 Roadriders need a WM3 as minimum? Was news to me, but the Avon chart says it all.

Madass,

The info may be somehwere else, but...do you supply the hub only at all?

Is is similar to what is known as the 'Norvil' 6 bolt twin disc hub?

(by 'Norvil' I am not referring to any supplier, just the design).

It is entirely up to you what you choose to manufacture and supply, no problem.

But consider that some of us (racers) are restricted from using floating discs, except from the original 'Norvil' splined design.

The hubs used for these seem to be getting harder to source, and the splined design uses a significant number of parts and the discs themselves are both heavy and a little more fragile than some.

So, some of us would like a simple non floating twin disc set up, using alloy disc carriers, bolted on (cast iron) discs and a good quality hub.

Just a thought.

looks very good .Does the brake lever/master cylinder assembly bolt straight to the Mk111 type switchgear? I'm currently using a sleeved down standard m/c with braided line.

Dear Sir,
please, what front hub you use for two discs?.
Thanks.
Ciao.

I sure hope you have the modified top tube set-up. That much braking power would fold the original in half with a single application!

One of the reasons it took N-V so long to figure out they had a structural problem was that the original 2LS drum brake wasn't strong enough to put the high forces in that disk brakes later developed. Also, I hadn't got very far with my frame fatigue testing before I decided to quit to join Boeing.

If you are concerned about breaking the front end away and must fit bigger tyres, you have got too much brake, and your riding style is dangerous. I use two early Suzuki discs with Lockheed single spot calipers, with the old style asbestos linings there is more brake than I will ever need. I suggest you should use the larger diameter master cylinder , a small one might give you too much purchase. Also harder carbon fibre racing pads might be a good idea. They will work well under duress after getting heat into them, and be safer at other times if you are not racing.

Just wondering how much unsprung weight the setup will add and how this extra mass will effect the "nimbleness" of a sngle disc setup?
Sure looks the part, but maybe the single is the way to go for the street and it's reasonable cost/benefit ratio....

How about a disc rear conversion to replace the drum brake? THAT would really complete the package!
