I have a 1975 MkIII Electric Start. It had no turn signals and I want to put original turn signals back on it. Did the short arm signals go in front and the long arm ones go in back?

I went to change mine last year and was going to buy 2 short and 2 long but checked what was on there first and found on my MK2a it has long ones front and back. So I bought 4 long stemmed ones.

Four 'long' originally according to the Mk3 parts book (99-1237/Lucas 60600091), Mk3 brochures, photos, etc. although owners often prefer to fit short/medium at the front (as Lucas made more than two lengths of stems/threads and Lucas copies can also have different stem lengths).
