Anyone recognize this motor?

The seller claims it is from one of Gary Nixon's bike and has papers to prove provenance. He also has sixty old motorcycles for sale, a few are Brits mostly European off road, Maico ,CZ, Bultaco, a couple of Ducati Scramblers and lots of other interesting stuff.

Neat. ARD mag placement, webber or dual Del'lorto, alphabet, cool finned primary and probably no alternator. Going Racing?

Dag Nabbit , thats the one Im looking for . Youd be mad not to purloin and make off with it under your arm , immediatly.Even though it is unit construction , youll have to live with that .

First thing establish exact valve clearances & ignition timeing . AS SET .

Then , send ( the Engine to ME )

Some off these swine will rev to 8.000

Romero I think claims they ran one out to 11.000 . Should do that with the Weber there , if a molybidinum Crank or whatever .

BE VERY CAREFULL at all stages handling . take copious notes and pictures . and dont let anyone touch it , But Me . :D

Matt, I'm not interested in buying the Triumph motor, but might buy one or two of the complete bikes this fellow has for sale.
On the other hand I might go crazy and buy his Maico collection, 15 bikes in various stages of repair.

If you are interested in the Triumph motor I will get the details for you, or can put you in touch with the seller.

If it has lightened (drilled) timing gears, I've seen it before. I was set to buy it and the guy moved leaving no forwarding address. I'm 99% sure it's the same engine.

I heard mention the gut that had it when i saw it, might not have obtained it and some bikes completely legitimately, so I didn't persue it.

(I didn't recall the Hunt mag, it may not have been on there at the time)
