Tri-spark now sparking

Might have got to the bottom of it. checking the resistance of the coils (2 X 6 volt) shows no issue but there was an intermittent break in the HT lead from the LH coil. (plug cap not screwed tight into the lead) Strange how it didn't manifest itself with either the points or the Boyer, just the trispark. Off to find some rain tomorrow.

Isn't it ironic that we feel somehow disappointed at finding a problem that is a cheap easy fix? if this is your issue, you should celebrate !
