Better keep those things upright. Italians are really proud of their parts and charge accordingly. :)

Both are pretty and I'm sure make you smile a lot.

Ive only riden her from the guy I purchased from in QLD down to the Gold Coast in "Rain" mode as it was pissing down. Havent opend her up to hear the AFM exhaust and the remaping to suit but can attest to the fact that she is an "Angry Wasp"

Front right Mazzochi is weeping and I suspect a bit of free play in the cush/final drive so shes straight off the truck to the Suspension Smith locally.

Being bundled onto transport for QLD down to ACT. Will be here Thursday

The thing with these engines is: they have paired the power delivery and noise in a way that seems to plug directly into your sensory receivers !
It just feels SO exhilarating when you wind it on, and beware cos it’s totally addictive.
They have somehow achieved an ‘emotional quality’ that few modern bikes can match IMO.

This Italian classic did it for me when I was young enough to get something out of it. Visceral sound it had in spades. Point is I get the quality you speak of. I miss the HP it made, but not the riding position. Oh yeah, it handled pretty good too. ;)

Update...

Forks rebuilt and seal replaced on the Mazzochi's. Check
520 chain and sprocket set fitted. Check
Roadworthy and Bike ID. Check

Been for a few rides now, amazing handeling, the noise is intoxicating as you so rightly said @Fast Eddie
Have played a bit with suspension setup but back to the stock settings, handles faboulously, and like the 961 it attracts attention wherever I pull up. :D

The quick shifter seems to like it hard/fast but shifts with a wonderful engine note change and theres a bit of play in the cush drive setup, bought these rubbers weeks ago but the 55mm tapered nut and eccentric tool havent arrived yet from the states (had to make my own c-spanner to do the chain set) I hoping once these are replaced its a bit smoother.
