Been looking for commando project and came across a Tracy kit on early commando on Hitchcocks motorcycle web site. Bit expensive for me but know nothing about the kit. Google search brings up a few 1980’s bikes, anyone know anything about them
Interesting bike, but It depends what you are intending to do? According to the advert the rear frame loop will have been cut off.
I reckon you could very easily pour another 4.5k into it, so I would say they are asking too much.
On the picture of the headstock the front of the tank looks suspiciously like rust, so maybe it's a steel tank?

Anyone care to guess what a realistic price for a 73 Triumph with a nice Tracy kit> There is one at local auction Garage kept for 30 years Last ridden 1975
Wow!
I’ve never seen anything like that before.
painted orange and black it would be a bit like a Hurricane not quite done right
Technically very interesting and a real piece of design history.
Not quite to my taste but you have to admire it.
A basic roadster is so beautiful in its simple utilitarian lines it’s hard for anything to look better but I can see where the design was coming from.
Too much oil filter is barely enough
