As for the drum v disc discussion there is no question that the disc is superior track or road.
But unless you are driving in modern heavy traffic you will do fine with a good drum. As
mentioned, you can only go as fast as you can stop so you adjust your driving style to the
equipment at hand. Horses for courses and all that.
