Timing side camshaft bush 1969 Commando S

Hi, can anyone tell me if the shoulder goes to the inside or outside in the case please, David

The engine illustration in the service manual shows the shoulder on the inside. It is not shown in the parts book nor is it mentioned in the service manual. Without disassembling my motor I can't verify this...

My Clymer manual shows on page 62 illustration 120 that the shoulder or lip to be on the inside next to the thrust washer.
