I am interested in buying a programmable ignition system, And I would like one which retards the ignition controllably when the throttle is opened too wide for the revs. Do Boyer make a unit which has provision for input from a throttle position sensor ? Or anybody else. I don't need more than one ignition advance curve, but it's shape must be programmable.

For use with carburettors I would suggest that the programmable curve is more interested in rpm than throttle position. For fuel injection it’s a different matter of course.

The only thing I know of that gives the kind of programmability you’re looking for is the Tri Spark Firebox. I used an earlier version of this on a triple some years ago and it was a great system as it is a dedicated spark, so allowed for 3 high output 12v coils. The fat spark gave nearly 5bhp increase !

However, an entire day spent playing with different advance curves yielded naught !

Maybe a chat with Steve at Tri Spark might be a good idea?

Not cheap tho…
