Guys (girls? if there are any)

Just found out something that needs to be shared. "SOME" older models pre 2015 had a cap to prevent this hole from leaking air into the throttle body. But the caps decay and or crack and leak. Like my dads 2013 was doing. Any how, inspect it and if it looks damaged then repair it the best way you can. Prolly not under warranty so get creative. If you can take it off and tap a thread that would be the best way. I'll report back if we come up with something.

Good find and very useful to know...

Keep up the good work guys, you are doing this forum and Norton proud!

My 2012 bike even has 2 of these holes in the throttle body and accordingly 2 caps, while one was missing one day...

Tap and plug those holes with set (grub) screws and a drop of Loctite. My 2014 (shipped Nov 2014) has the hole plugged with set screw from the factory. Obviously , put this on the list of things to do when the throttle body comes off.

A little dusty in there . Notice the grub screw plugging the hole .

I will be installing spring clamps on all unclamped hose connections .

Coming next : oil/air separator relocation (to current factory spot) and installation of oil feed line in-line filter (current production factory filter) .
