Well howdy Nortoneers,

It's been a year since my last confession
All well here, fit and happy.

I got a bit disillusioned with the old bloke, (Ed Norton) and left him sit for a while. After replacing the carbs, I still had occasional 'spit back' problems a'la' worn Amals.
Not knowing the age of the Boyer, I grabbed a new Pazon Altair, half fitted it and walked away to consentrate on my Shooting.
Now we're past Summer here and I reregistered it back in November, so probably should do something positive towards making it ridable.
Anyway, thought I'd poke my nose in and have a look around say G'day, and piss orf.
Cheers AC.

WHEN I RIDE IT, IT FEELS LIKE THE MOTOR IS MISSING........................... BAHAHAHAAHAHA.

Thought I better say G'day. heheh

looks long low and sleek so make hot motor sounds to match eh. Btw what shooting are you concentrating on? Does it move fast? My pet project will have at least two big paintball blunderbusses that'll pepper a whole barn side at 40 yd, so can't miss one to half dozen big animals in the way that will not be there when I arrive.

Hey Hob,

Paper mainly, havn't been out on the goats or pigs for a while. Rabbits are scarce, foxes are about but havn't chased them lately.
Big trip north planned for next year, get amongst em.
A mate has had some Fallow Deer stray onto his property, we took 6 in a space of about 6 months, but leaving them alone now for a while.
Don't want them to move on.

Don't your legs get tired when you go around like that ????

Well I'm back again, just checking up on you lot,

Still got Ed, clocked a few more Ks and all is well.
Noticed a few oil drips (heaven forbid) on the floor the other day, might be time for a check up and service lol.

Anywho, G'day from S.A.

I'm glad to see I have some fellow shooters on here - Nortons and guns are a good mix! I specialise in hunting in the dark using thermal imagers and night vision equipment. Foxes are a huge problem in the rural community where I live, and as we're out almost every night of the year, the local farmers love us!

You are, of course, quite right. I have two Land Rovers - a 200Tdi Defender and a 300Tdi Disco. :)

Aw come on. Unless you are using flintlock muskets, then the land rover would be tops.

Me, I think Land Cruisers are tops. At least I don't have to spend much time working on them,. More time to fix the Norton's. I know. I CUT MY TWEETH ON BRITISH VEHICLES.

Well I have owned my 2000 Defender 130 dual cab (TD5) for 9 years now and the only work I do on it is the nomal maitenance the same as any other car/truck and the best thing about it it don't rust out like the the Land Cruisers and yes I have owned 3 of them.

I was just reading an article in Land Rover International magazine which related how an African wildlife charity in Kenya loves having Land Rovers as it means they can recover more of the Land Cruisers that get stuck...
